Mike Amo has created a unique and impressive camper by combining a 1990 BMY army truck with a 40-foot shipping container. This extraordinary vehicle, originally intended for tourism, has been transformed into a fully-functional mobile home. The project, which cost $50,000 and took ten months to complete, showcases Mike’s welding and electrical expertise.
The camper is built on a former Colorado National Guard troop carrier, featuring a massive 179-inch wheelbase and 93-inch width. The shipping container was cut in half and mounted on a floating frame, allowing for flexibility during off-road adventures. The exterior boasts LED headlights, a custom bumper, and various tools and equipment, while the interior includes a bathroom, living space, kitchen, and bedroom, all designed with practicality and comfort in mind.
All for Just $50K!
This unique mobile home combines rugged off-road ability with comfortable living space. It features smart off-grid systems, including a clever hot water setup. The camper also boasts an impressive sound system.
Mike Amo’s creation stands out as a massive and remarkable vehicle. It offers unmatched capabilities for adventure seekers who want a home on wheels without breaking the bank.
